“We’re totally in love with this performer”
Ginnie Terry has been performing since she was eight years old when she first climbed up on stage at the local VFW Hall and never looked back. Ginnie has performed in church, community productions and with numerous local bands at venues from fairs and barbecues to weddings and large corporate events in California, Florida and Kentucky where she currently resides. Along the way she has also worked as a demo singer and provided voiceovers for radio and tv.
Ginnie had dreams of becoming a professional singer, but as often happens, life changes priorities and she put her singing aspirations on the back burner to raise a family. In 2005, Ginnie moved to Florida where she met her husband, Mark. Having all but given up on her dreams of a music career, she was encouraged to continue with the idea that “you never know what can happen.”
After auditioning for a very popular local band in Florida, Ginnie was asked to join them full time as the featured female singer. "The Mystery Band" traveled all over Florida and Georgia playing exclusively for large weddings and corporate events for up to 4000 people. Ginnie’s vocal abilities allowed her to cover styles from Etta James and Adele to Tanya Tucker and Linda Ronstadt.
A demo cd of personal favorites, placed in the right hands, resulted in an invitation to go to Nashville for a recording project. Ginnie began recording her debut album, “A Satisfied Me” at Off The Row Studio offtherow.net, in Franklin, TN with the very talented Eddie Kilgallon eddieksongs.com, as producer.
In November of 2020 Ginnie was thrilled to join Darlene Fowler and the family at the MC1 Nashville label. Ginnie’s debut single, “A Better Lie”, written by Westin Davis, Rick Huckaby and Lacey Brown, is being distributed by Sony/The Orchard.
